Dear Duff Dragons & Families, 

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I am Principal Mrs. Dowell. I am so excited to begin this school year with all of you and to be part of the amazing Duff Dragon family. This year, we will continue to grow as leaders, learners, and caring members of our school community.

At Duff,  every Dragon is a leader. Leadership is shown through our choices, our actions, and the way we treat others. Through The Leader in Me 7 Habits, we will continue to learn how to take responsibility, set goals, work together, and make a positive difference. We will be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand and Then to Be Understood, Synergize, and Sharpen the Saw as we grow into confident and compassionate leaders.

Our Duff Dragons will also RISE every day by living out our school expectations:

🐉 R — Respect: We treat ourselves, others, and our school with kindness and care.
🐉 I — Integrity: We do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
🐉 S — Safety: We make choices that keep ourselves and others safe.

Dragons leaders make positive choices and help others succeed. Dragon leaders who are ready to learn, support one another, and make Duff a place where everyone belongs. Every day, every Dragon has the opportunity to RISE!

Let’s make this year a year of respect, integrity, safety, and excellence. Together, we will learn, grow, and show the world what it means to be a Duff Dragon!
